Chi Kung Exercise To Balance Health
Chi Kung generally speaking means, energy training or the cultivation of chi and consists of mainly static and movement based chi kung exercises, or a combination of the two. They are used to raise resistance to illness and aid the development of a strong constitution, a process of becoming physically healthy.
The core training of the system that I teach is Zhan Zhuang ( pronounced Jan Jong ) also known as ” Standing Like A Tree ” There are a number of standing postures with related movements, first taught as static postures and later with the related movements. Weather you just want basic health or want to enhance your martial training, then Zhan Zhuang is the exercise for you.
Zhan Zhuang Chi Kung classes start with warm ups and end with cool down exercises, movements are included were appropriate holding the standing posture. Typically postures are held between 5 to 30min.
